Julien Dauphin (born 1978) started his career as a teenager in the streets of Paris. He was a bullied and lonely teenager, doing tricks to get friends and be accepted in school ...

He practiced his craft at the ”Forum des halles” in the heart of Paris amongst other street performers. 

He was invited at the world's oldest magic school ”Chavez studio of magic” in Los Angeles and the door to the world of magic was open. After placing 2nd in the first Got talent TV show he won both the Swedish and Nordic Championships .

Performing magic for celebrities, kings and queens he toured the world thru Asia , Middle east, Europe and America together with his wife and assistant Åsa for more than 10 years.

After thousands of shows he received ”Merlin Award” for Best stage magic in Europe.

His career than continued on social Media as a pioneer of a generation as the first Magician in the world to bring Magic on the Internet in a large scale, reaching billions of people worldwide thru over 10 million followers crossing plattforms.

He brought Magic from fancy stages and tv shows to the homeless people of the streets. Julien is today The worlds biggest Magician on social media with over 1,3 billion views 2020.

The Timeline of Julien Magic

• 1998 Four years as an employee at Live Nation in Stockholm. Julien worked as a show producer and creator of a Nightclub chain where he toured in 50 Swedish cities.

• 2002 Julien attended the world’s oldest magic school ”Chavez Studio of Magic” in Los Angeles. He studied Stage Magic with Dale Salwak and Dove Manipulations with Amos Levkovich. He graduated with top marks from his legendary teachers.

• 2004 Julien won The Nordic Championships of Magic and received The Grand Prix in Stage magic from The Swedish Magic circle. He also created his own charity for ill children, making free appearances at hospitals during his Swedish tour where he used magic as a therapy to motivate ill children through their illnesses.

• 2006 Julien became the Swedish Champion of Magic and represented his country when Sweden hosted the World Championships in Stockholm. He earned 6th place worldwide. He has appeared for Chinese, American, Japanese and German television shows reaching over 200 million people. He then embarked on a world tour visiting Denmark, Norway, Egypt, Monaco, Czech Republic, France, Germany and USA.

• 2007 Julien won a second place in “Sweden`s Got Talent”, where he was viewed by almost a third of the population of Sweden. He then performed at Hilton Hotel in Prague and at the Nobel Prize Ceremony in Stockholm, Sweden.

• 2008 was a lucky year for Julien with over 130 performances worldwide, including appearances for the Swedish Crown Princess Victoria at a gala in Stockholm, The world famous Grand Prix in Monaco and the Film Festival in Cannes. He then produced his own show in Stockholm opening to sold out crowds for all 23 shows.

• 2009 Julien opens the Swedish Oscars where he performed an act themed after ”Let the right One In”. He then performed 25 shows at The Magic Castle in Hollywood, USA. In the summer of 2009 he played the part of The Magician in Mozart`s Opera ”Magic Flute” for 4000 spectators in Copenhagen.

• 2010 Julien became Ambassador for his formal hometown Eskilstuna in Sweden and is awarded with ”Eskils Statue”. His tour then took him to China where he performed 18 sold out shows at the Puyang acrobatic hall, Henan Province. Rounding out the year with performances in Stockholm, Los Angeles.

• 2011 Julien is filming a 12 episode TV show together with Sweden’s only astronaut Christer Fugelsang. During the summer he also filmed 10 episodes of his own TV show where he combines Reality and Magic for Channel 6. Julien also performed for the third time for the King and Queen of Sweden in a special gala at the Castle of Västerås.

• 2012 Julien received the most prestigious award (magicians Oscar)”Merlin Award” for Best stage Magic Europe 2012. The award was given by the president Tony Hassini from the international Magicians society with 39.000 members worldwide. Earlier receivers are David Copperfield, Criss Angel and Siegfried and Roy.

• 2013 Julien toured sweden in 23 cities with the worlds largest Theatre company ”Riksteatern”as the producers. He made numerous tv appearances and for the second time he appears at the stockholm Water Prize ceremony by special demand of the king and Queen.

• 2014 Julien gets the role of the story teller in the musical play puss `n Boots at the musical academy of stockholm where he plays 17 performances and combines acting with magic. He also performs 25 shows in Doha, Qatar and ”Svalbard Norway”the northeast island of Europe

• 2013 - 2015 Julien Becomes a Dad for the first time and starts his social media, Youtube, Facebook and instagram to be able to spend more time with the family.

• 2016 - 2017 He travels to different places in the world and films magic with everything from World Stars to the homeless. His social media grows at a record speed and becomes a pioneer as the first magician in the world to fully feed on adbreaks on Youtube and Facebook. He is awarded the SILVER PLAY BUTTON by Youtube.

• 2018 - 2019 His magic reaches new heights with over 100 million views and with over 1 million followers he becomes the most famous magician in the world. He is awarded the GOLD PLAY BUTTON by Youtube.

• 2020 - 2021 During the corona Pandemic, Julien invests more in Pranks filmed from home with the family growth continues and retains its place as the world's largest digital magician with a total of 8 million and an incredible 1.1 billion views (only on facebook).
